We at Stemmerman's Inn & Suites take the pleasure of introducing you to the excellent location and accommodations that we offer. Stemmerman's Inn & Suites was established in 1987 in the heart of Wilmington's Downtown Central Historic Business District. The name Stemmerman (circa 1855) remains as one of the German inheritances from the earlier settlers and an architect in Wilmington. The VanKampen Building (circa 1886) houses the Inn in the second story with entrances both from Front Street and the Inn's private off-street parking lot immediately behind the building. The Riverwalk is virtually out of the back door with a lovely park entrance.

Accommodations are so important and at Stemmerman's are some of the most charming, comfortable and inviting suites. Our suites are fully equipped to accommodate the needs of our daily, weekly, short and long term guests. A NO SMOKING POLICY is in effect within the walls of Stemmerman's.

Safety and security are also important and our well-lit parking area is monitored 24/7. Guests are given a 'parking pass' to our complimentary off-street parking for the duration of their stay. Stemmerman's Inn & Suites are health and safety certified by the New Hanover County Health and Fire Departments.
